Participate in a funded project on the contributions of Greek physicians and biomedical scientists in Medicine and Research in the last 200 years.
Position: Visiting Research Scholar on “1821-2021: Greek Pioneers and Innovators in Medicine and Biomedical Sciences”
The School of Liberal Arts and Sciences at Deree-The American College of Greece seeks a visiting scholar who will undertake a research and writing project leading to a volume on the contributions of physicians and biomedical scientists of Greek heritage in the advancement of clinical and experimental Medicine over the last 200 years. This project will lead to publication of a printed and electronic volume.
The project is undertaken with the occasion of the 200-year anniversary of the declaration of Greek Independence. It aims to make known the achievements of scientists of Greek heritage in Medicine and Biosciences, and their contributions in the advancement of clinical and experimental medicine. It also aims to identify role models for future practitioners & researchers.
This funded research project is supervised by the American College of Greece in collaboration with ARISTEiA-Institute for the Advancement of Research & Education in Arts, Sciences & Technology, and a scientific board of prominent Greek biomedical scientists.
